Je me tiens régulièrement au courant des dernières avancées pédagogiques tirées des neurosciences cognitives. Ainsi je fais travailler mes élèves selon la méthode SRS - méthode de la répétition espacée - (travail sur la mémorisation).
J’utilise des méthodes pédagogiques novatrices, différentes de celles utilisées habituellement en classe (cartes mentales/mind map, outils de coaching…) pour hausser mes élèves au maximum de leurs possibilités.

Mon approche : faire passer mes élèves de simple « lecteurs » à « auteurs » de leurs propres écrits. Je les forme à l’écriture, à trouver leur propre style pour gagner en expression, en compréhension, en autonomie et en maturité. C'est "l'empowerment", terme américain qui désigne la réappropriation du pouvoir par soi-même... de simple "passif" le jeune, peu à peu, devient "actif" et « participant » à sa propre éducation... Apprendre à "devenir"...

La méthodologie du commentaire : "check-lists" de procédés littéraires, sur tous les objets d’étude du programme (théâtre, poésie, roman, littérature d’idées) ; analyse de chaque texte sous forme de carte/schéma ; nombreux plans types ; méthode rapide pour l’introduction et la conclusion ; astuces afin de pouvoir traiter de manière « mécanique » un texte jugé « difficile ».

La dissertation : une explication claire sur la notion de thèse/antithèse est faite. Ils savent ensuite parfaitement élaborer un plan type qui réponde à la question posée. Pour le contenu, le cours peut être travaillé avec eux, des livres de cours leur seront aussi conseillés en complément.

La contraction de texte et l’essai sont abordés.

■ L’oral du baccalauréat :

Les élèves me fournissent leur descriptif (liste des textes). Nous refaisons ensemble, si besoin, une analyse linéaire de chacun de ses textes. Nous préparons la présentation de l'oeuvre choisie avec les questions possibles pour la 2ème partie de l’épreuve.
